On the Drum Throne

The view behind the two bass drums with the Gibraltar Intruder pedals installed separately for each kick drum. I originally bought them as a double pedal set for playing double kick on a single bass drum. I just removed the drive shaft connecting the two and added a spring (came with the set) to the secondary pedal. Now they are two independent kick pedals. The Shure SM58 can be seen peeking out from between the two toms, top center, pointing down a couple inches off the edge of the snare drum. The snare can be miked similarly as the toms. The most famous snare drum mic is the Shure SM57. But, I do not have it. The SM58 will do just fine.
