The Shure PG Series is an inexpensive way to mic drums and other percussion instruments in the studio or for live setups. The rundown on the mics I used: 1 - Shure SM58 for the snare; 2 - VTech VTND4 dynamic mics; 1- Apex 175 small diaphragm condenser for the hi-hats; 3 - Shure PG56 drum mics for toms; 1 - Shure PG52 bass drum mic; 1 - Behringher large condenser studio mic.
